Former Professional Boxer Arrested In Norwalk: Report

Police said a former professional middleweight boxer is accused of assaulting someone over an outstanding debt.

NORWALK, CT — Police said a former professional middleweight boxer is accused of assaulting someone over an outstanding debt, the Norwalk Hour reports. Police said a man told officers Tarvis Simms punched him in the face five times outside a South Norwalk business Friday.

According to the Norwalk Hour, police said the accused denied the allegations but agreed to an interview with officers and was arrested after the discussion. The accused is the twin brother of state Rep. Travis Simms.
