Get Christmas Trees to the Curb by This Monday or on Jan. 19

Here's the January 2015 schedule for Christmas tree collection in Norwalk (and when you can take them to the Yard Debris Site).

An announcement from the Norwalk Department of Public Works:

Christmas Trees will be collected twice during the month of January 2015:

  • Monday Jan. 5 through Friday Jan. 9
  • Tuesday Jan. 20 through Friday Jan. 23

Please have trees curbside by 6 a.m. on the MONDAY of the above
collection weeks.

Please NO PLASTIC BAGS OR DECORATIONS.

The Yard Debris Site, located at 15 South Smith St., will be open on the
following days in January, during regular business hours, weather
permitting:

  • Monday Jan. 5 through Saturday Jan. 10;
  • Wednesday, Jan. 14;
  • Tuesday, Jan. 20, 2015 through Saturday Jan. 24; and
  • Wednesday, Jan. 28.
