Heatwave Returns, Stormy Weather Possible for Days: Norwalk’s Weather
We're in a pattern now of extreme heat and humidity which means thunderstorms are possible for the next several days.

A Hazardous Weather Outlook has been issued for parts of Connecticut for showers and possibly strong thunderstorms on Wednesday and then the story turns to the next heatwave that is expected to begin on Thursday and continue through this weekend.
The entire state may see showers and thunderstorms this afternoon and evening though it appears the greatest chance for severe weather on Wednesday is in Hartford and Tolland counties, according to the National Weather Service.
On Wednesday it will be mostly cloudy with temps in the mid 80s.

Beginning on Thursday the actual temps will climb into the upper 80s but the heat index will be in the mid 90s to near 100 degrees. More storms and showers are also possible Thursday and there is a chance of some unsettled weather throughout the weekend too as temps and the heat index reach in excess of 100 degrees.
Some rain would be welcomed as northern Connecticut is running a major deficit of nearly nine inches and southern Connecticut is four to five inches behind where it should normally be for this time of the year.
