Intoxicated Suspect Tries to Hideout in the Ceiling of Norwalk Business: Cops

He left but police eventually caught up with him.

NORWALK, CT — A 33-year-old Norwalk man was arrested on criminal mischief, criminal trespass and other charges Tuesday after he drunkenly harassed former co-workers at his old job and then tried to hide out in the ceiling of an adjacent business, according to police.

And later the same day, County Street resident Daniel Bassett also allegedly assaulted a roommate after the two argued over the roommate using Bassett's butter, reports the Stamford Advocate.

Employees of a Westport Avenue pet shop where Bassett worked were the ones to call police when he drunkenly showed up and wouldn't leave, but eventually climbed into the ceiling of a next door business before fleeing.
