Update: Sentencing Reportedly Postponed for Confessed Norwalk Cabbie Killer
Ramiro Arcos-Garcia pleaded guilty to the 2014 killing of Jackson Pierre-Louis.

Updated at 2:37 p.m. on Monday, Aug. 1, 2016: The sentencing of Ramiro Arcos-Garcia for the killing of Norwalk cab driver Jackson Pierre-Louis has been postponed.
The Hour reports that the sentencing, which was scheduled for today, Aug. 1, will now take place on Aug. 29. He remains in custody on a $2.5 million bond.
Original story: NORWALK, CT — Ramiro Arcos-Garcia, 34, is expected to receive a 30-year prison term today, Aug. 1, when he he is sentenced for the killing of Norwalk cab driver Jackson Pierre-Louis, 51, back in 2014, report The Hour.

In June, Arcos-Garcia pleaded guilty to the killing, and that guilty plea basically ensured the length of his sentence.
The killing occurred on Dec. 8, 2014, when Arcos-Garcia stabbed Pierre-Louis in the stomach, chest and neck while on Grove Street in South Norwalk.

According to police, Arcos-Garcia claimed the stabbing occurred during a sexual tryst between the two men that turned violent.
Arcos-Garcia is scheduled to be sentenced in Stamford Superior Court.
