Man Charged In Double Fatal Crash: Norwalk PD
Police said a Stamford man was arrested on charges in connection to a double fatal crash that occurred in January.

NORWALK, CT — Police said a Stamford man was arrested Tuesday on charges in connection to a double fatal crash that occurred in January. The arrest was the result of a subsequent lengthy investigation, police said.
According to a news release, members of the Norwalk Police Department served an active arrest warrant on 33-year-old Anthony Domond of Stamford, with assistance from the United States Marshals Service Violent Fugitive Task Force and Stamford police.
Police said the accused was wanted in connection with a double fatal crash that occurred Jan. 8 on Connecticut Avenue. He was charged with manslaughter, operating under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs and reckless driving, police said.

According to police, the accused was driving westbound on Connecticut Avenue near Richards Avenue when he entered the eastbound lane and struck a vehicle that was also travelling eastbound. Both occupants of the vehicle were killed, according to police.
