Man Charged with Manslaughter of Infant Son in Norwalk Arraigned
Jorge Chiclana was arraigned in court and more details about the case were revealed.
The man accused of creating a 50-proof alcohol mixture that led to his infant son’s death was arraigned in court.
Jacob was only 5-months-old when he died in 2014. His mother Odalis Galarza said in court documents that she never really trusted Jorge Chiclana, 22, of Bridgeport and that he allegedly shook his other child, a daughter because she was crying, according to the Norwalk Hour.

She also said he suffers from substance abuse and mental health issues.

Galarza told investigators that she didn’t keep alcohol in the home, but recalled a time where Chiclana said he was upset with all the attention he had to give the baby due to many doctor visits.
