Manslaughter Charge For Suspect In Fatal Norwalk Overdose: Police
Norwalk police arrested the suspected drug dealer who allegedly supplied the drugs that killed Michael McMurray on July 22.

NORWALK, CT — A 29-year-old Norwalk man has been arrested on a warrant charging him with first-degree manslaughter and sale of narcotics in connection with selling the drugs that killed Michael McMurray in an overdose on July 22.
Eric Frank, of Freedman Drive, was arrested Friday at Norwalk Superior Court, the second arrest Norwalk police made Friday in connection with seven overdoses on July 22.
McMurray overdosed at a residence on Quaker Road on the 22nd and later died at Norwalk Hospital.

"Norwalk Detectives responded to the scene and began their investigation," wrote police in a statement. "On July 22, 2017, at 9:45 pm the Special Services Division arrested Eric Frank on narcotics charges. Because of this arrest, Eric Frank quickly became a suspect in this death of Michael McMurray."
The case was investigated by Detective Nikolaos Kougioumtzidis, obtained the warrant for Frank's arrest.

Frank was held in lieu of a $150,000 and is scheduled to return to court at a later date.
