Mystery Surrounds Healthy Tree Cut Down In Norwalk Park
The cut down maple tree was discovered on Tuesday.
NORWALK, CT — The police department has launched an investigation into who cut down a "perfectly healthy maple tree," which was discovered in Mill Pond Park in Norwalk on Tuesday.
The tree, pictured in a post on the city's Facebook page, appears to be over 20 feet tall, and may have been cut down by someone using a chainsaw.
"The tree knocked over a garbage can resulting in litter being scattered all across the park," officials wrote.
