Road Closure In Place For Norwalk Oyster Festival: Details

Visitors are encouraged to use free shuttle services or nearby parking options for the festival this weekend.

NORWALK, CT — A section of North Water Street will be closed during the Norwalk Oyster Festival this weekend, and visitors are encouraged to use free shuttle services or nearby parking options.

North Water Street will be fully closed between Marshall and Washington streets from noon Friday, Sept. 11, through noon Monday, Sept. 14.

Free shuttles will operate on the following schedule:

  • Friday, Sept. 11, from 5:30 to 11:30 p.m. at Norwalk Community College and Calf Pasture Beach
  • Saturday, Sept. 12, from 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 p.m. at Norwalk Community College, Calf Pasture Beach and Norwalk City Hall
  • Sunday, Sept. 13, from 10:30 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. at Norwalk Community College, Calf Pasture Beach and Norwalk City Hall

Paid parking will also be available at the Webster Street Parking Lot, Haviland Street Parking Lot, Maritime Aquarium Garage, Iron Works Garage and North Water Street Parking Lot. All are within walking distance of the festival.
