Nicholas Anthony Bilello, age 69, passed away on Wednesday, July 3, 2019 peacefully at his home surrounded by family.
Nick is survived by his wife, Karen (DeNardo) Bilello, his son Michael Bilello, wife Lisa, granddaughter Kelly; son Nicholas Bilello, wife Dana, granddaughter Anna Ryan, grandson Preston; daughter Michele, husband David, grandson Brendan, granddaughter Kylie: son Frank, wife Victoria, granddaughter Caitlyn, grandson Frank; sister Suzanne, niece Chiara; cousin Felix Baccadora and extended family members and friends.
Born on May 9, 1950, Nick was raised in Port Chester New York, the son of Florence (Attilio) and Anthony Bilello, he was a resident of Stamford, New Canaan and Rowayton Connecticut. An avid car enthusiast and Lionel train collector, Nick owned Nick’s Auto Body in Stamford, Connecticut for many years with his dog, Fido by his side. Together with his son Nicky, he enjoyed rebuilding his 1965 Mustang GT, along with his 1978 Corvette and many other classic American cars. Nick loved being near the ocean and spending time with his children and grandchildren, especially at Disney World.
A memorial service to celebrate Nick’s life will be held in August. Detailed information about the memorial will be posted at a later date.
