Norwalk Announces 2024 Bulky Waste Collection Schedule
Bulky waste collection is available to residents within the 4th Taxing District who receive garbage and recycling collection from the city.

NORWALK, CT — City officials announced this week Norwalk's 2024 bulky waste collection schedule.
According to the city's Facebook page, bulky waste collection is available to residents within the 4th Taxing District who receive garbage and recycling collection from the city.

The 4th Taxing District has been divided into four zones for designated collection dates. The first collection is scheduled to take place March 6 for residents in Zone 1.

Further information about each zone and corresponding collection dates are below:
- Bulky Waste Collection for residents who live in Zone 1 is scheduled for March 6, 2024, and July 10, 2024.
- Zone 1 is the dark green area via the map and includes residents who live north of Route 15/Merritt Parkway and east of Route 7, between Route 15 and Route 1.
- Bulky Waste Collection for residents who live in Zone 2 is scheduled for April 24, 2024, and August 7, 2024.
- Zone 2 is the light green area via the map and includes residents who live southeast of Route 1 and East Norwalk residents.
- Bulky Waste Collection for residents who live in Zone 3 is scheduled for May 22, 2024, and September 11, 2024.
- Zone 3 is the yellow area via the map and includes residents who live south of I-95 and west of the Norwalk River. It also includes South Norwalk residents.
- Bulky Waste Collection for residents who live in Zone 4 is scheduled for June 5, 2024, and October 9, 2024.
- Zone 4 is the red area via the map and includes residents who live west of Route 7 and between Route 15 and I-95.
To request bulky waste collection, residents can fill out this form or contact the city's Customer Service Center by phone at 203-854-3200 or by email at customerservice@norwalkct.gov before their scheduled collection dates.
Residents must contact customer service anytime up until 4:30 p.m. of the Monday before the scheduled collection to submit a request.
