Norwalk Appoints Interim Police Chief
The Norwalk Police Department has appointed a new interim chief following the retirement of Thomas Kulhawik.

NORWALK, CT — Deputy Chief James Walsh has been appointed to serve as the Norwalk Police Department's interim chief following the retirement of Thomas Kulhawik, according to city officials.
In a news release Wednesday, Mayor Harry Rilling said Walsh's appointment is effective immediately.
Tuesday marked Kulhawik's last day as chief, however his official retirement date is Jan. 4. He announced his retirement this week after nearly 40 years of service with the department, including 10 as chief.
