Family in government: Just me

The single biggest issue in town is ______, and I plan to do this about it:

As Town Clerk our pressing issues are the needs of the public. Daily we work with the public to help them with what ever needs they have. From vital records (birth, death, marriage) to licenses (dog, fishing) to elections, and land records and much more we are here to help them and as P.T. Barnum said "always wanting coming back for more!"

Critical differences between me and my opponents:

I do not have an opponent but I do have the best staff in City Hall!

Accomplishments:

I believe having a staff available during COVID-19 to help with the needs of residents along with allow access to Land records from home are the biggest recent ones. Online marriage and dog licensing from home are a new tool residents can use. We have received over $30,000 in grants over the last couple years for historical preservation of our town records

Other issues:

Good friendly service and helping residents in need and keeping politics out of the Town Clerk's office are what we strive for. Knowing we may make a difference in a resident life or help them with a struggle is well worth it.

What else would you like voters to know about you?

I was born and raised in Norwalk and I love my job. To be able to raise my family, work and play here is worth more than anyone could ask for.

I just want to thank the residents of the Village of Norwalk, as I call it, and for allowing me to be your Town Clerk. It truly takes a village.
