Norwalk Firemen Save Heart Attack Victim

NORWALK, CT- Firefighters around at the right time helped save a heart attack victim Feb. 23.
Four firemen were leaving Shop Rite on Connecticut Avenue when they saw a man clutch his chest and drop to the ground, according to the Norwalk Hour.

They summoned an ambulance and began CPR and attached him to a defibrillator. The man began breathing after less than 29 seconds of work.
Firefighters Kevin (Skip) Gilchrist, Jesse Granton, Patrick Marro and Capt. Michael McCallum were commended for their quick efforts in attending to the victim.
