Norwalk Man Arrested Twice in Three Days in Stamford
He burglarized a building one day and then assaulted a father and son on another day, police said.

NORWALK, CT — A Norwalk man was arrested twice in three days by Stamford Police after he burglarized a building and assaulted a father and son.
Michael Fagan, 33, was first arrested Jan. 28 after police responded to a burglary alarm at a Cove Road building. An officer was checking out the building when he saw Fagan on the roof, police said.
The building was surrounded and Fagan eventually came down and was arrested. It was learned that he had entered the building, police said.

Police initially held him on a $10,000 bond, but a bale commissioner reduced it to a promise to appear and released him.
On Monday police responded to Bedford Street on a report of an assault.

Fagan knocked over items in Bedford News and Variety before leaving. He then confronted a 58-year-old man and his 25-year-old son in the area of the Brickhouse Grill and Bar. He assaulted both victims, police said.
Police chased Fagan on foot and was taken into custody.
"Fagan was uncooperative during the booking process and struggled once again with officers," said Lt. Thomas Scanlon. "One officer was injured during the booking process."
He was charged with two counts of third-degree assault, breach of peace, interfering with police, third-degree burglary, third-degree criminal trespass and third-degree criminal mischief.
