Norwalk PD Urges Residents To Lock Cars Following Rash Of Thefts
An undisclosed number of vehicles reportedly have been stolen in Norwalk in recent weeks.
NORWALK, CT — Norwalk police officials are urging residents to lock their vehicles following a spate of vehicle thefts in recent weeks.
Lt. Jared Zwickler told Patch that the thefts have not been from a specific part of Norwalk but from various parts of the city. He did not disclose how many vehicles had been stolen.
"We have found that many of the vehicles were unlocked or had the keys in them," Zwickler said. "We encourage residents to lock their cars, not leave keys inside, and not leave other items like key-fobs inside."
