Norwalk Police to Crack Down on Drunk Boat Operators
It is illegal to operate a boat with a BAC of .08 or higher.

The Norwalk Police Department Marine Unit will be cracking down on people who are boating under the influence.
Operation Dry Water will focus on deterring such activities between June 28 and June 28.
“It is our job as law enforcement to identify and remove drunk or impaired boaters from the water – so that everyone else can continue to have an enjoyable boating season, and not become a victim of boating under the influence.” said Sergeant Terry Blake.

It is illegal to operate a vessel with a BAC of .08 or higher, the same as driving a motor vehicle.
