Norwalk Police ID Suspect in Webster Bank Robbery: Report

The Bronx, NY man is expected to be extradited to Connecticut to face charges.

NORWALK, CT — A Bronx, NY man has been identified as the suspect in an August bank robbery at a Webster Bank on Connecticut Avenue in Norwalk, and he is expected to be extradited to face charges.

The Hour reports that Kevin Credle, 45, is currently in police custody in New York on unrelated charges, and he will be extradited to Connecticut on first-degree robbery and fourth-degree larceny charges.

Credle allegedly robbed the bank at about 10 a.m. on Aug. 5, passing a note to the teller and indicating he had a weapon which he never displayed, according to police.
