Arnaldo Fraccaroli, 83, Longtime Resident

Fraccaroli passed away on Sept. 18 after a long illness. His funeral mass will be held at St. Matthew Church on Sept. 22.

Arnaldo Fraccaroli, a resident of Norwalk for over 52 years, entered into eternal rest, surrounded by his loving family, on Sunday, September 18 after a long illness. Born on February 8, 1928 in Solana di Scilla Reggio Calabria, Italy to Romeo Fraccaroli and Guiseppa Cambareri, Arnaldo emigrated from Italy in 1959. A fine carpenter and craftsman, he worked for TNA Carpentry before starting his own carpentry business, Fraccaroli Carpentry, with his son in 1987.  After retiring in 1990, he enjoyed his days gardening, woodworking and devoting his time to his six loving grandchildren.

Arnaldo is survived by his wife of 53 years, Maria Tomas Fraccaroli, who cared for him at home and never left his side throughout his illness, two daughters, Josephine Cambareri and partner Bryan Benson of North Branford, Mary Roland and her husband John of Rowayton, a son Anthony Fraccaroli and wife Suzanne of Wilton, and son-in-law Giovanni Cambareri of Norwalk, 6 grandchildren: Nancy and Marie Cambareri, John and Arnaldo Roland, and Arnaldo and Joseph Fraccaroli, three sisters, Gina Crea, Dina Oliveri and Maria Princi of Italy as well as many nieces, nephews and extended family. He was predeceased by his brother Antonio Fraccaroli.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 9:30 am on Thursday, September 22, at , with entombment to follow at .
