Norwalk Spring Curbside Yard Waste Collection Schedule Announced
The city's next spring curbside yard waste collection is scheduled to take place next week for some Norwalk residents.
NORWALK, CT — The city's next spring curbside yard waste collection is scheduled for the week of Monday, May 13, for residents whose garbage and recycling are routinely picked up on Thursdays and Fridays.
According to the city's Facebook page, residents are asked to have their waste curbside by 6 a.m. on the Monday of their collection week so it can be collected sometime during that week.
The city also provided the following collection reminders:

- Do not mix yard waste with garbage.
- Leaves must be in paper bags or garbage cans without lids.
- Leaves will not be collected if they are in plastic bags.
- Only bundled brushes under 4 feet will be collected.
- Loose leaves, logs, stumps, rocks, soil, mulch and lumber will not be collected.
