Norwalk Teen Posts Inappropriate Pictures of Teacher: Police
The 14-year-old was arrested on a harassment charge.

Streetchat is an app that has been in the news lately for its role in cyberbullying.
The below video was created by a Portland, Oregon student. In it she asks her fellow students to avoid the app because school is supposed to be a safe place and the students are all family.
“We are cyberbullying our own brothers and sisters,” she said in the video. “We’re supposed to be sticking up for each other. What the heck is wrong with us?”

Now it is Norwalk in the news, relating to the app. A 14-year-old Norwalk student allegedly posted photographs of a Brien McMahon High School teacher on Streetchat, indicating she was having inappropriate relations with students, police told NBC Connecticut.
The teenager was arrested for harassment. The school’s resource officer investigated the matter and reportedly discovered other Streetchat shares by Brien McMahon students that could fall into the cyberbullying realm.

The Juvenile Review Board intends to hear from the teenager on this matter.
