Norwalk's Jameel Roberts Up For Grammy With Ariana Grande Album

The Norwalk native has co-writing credits on the popular singer's album "Thank U, Next."

NORWALK, CT — Hopefully for Norwalk native Jameel Roberts, the third time will be the charm.

The Norwalk High School grad, who has become a renowned musician, producer and songwriter, is up for a Grammy award for his co-writing credits on the hit Ariana Grande album "Thank U, Next," writes The Hour.

The album is up for Album of the Year and Best Pop Vocal Album, and it is Roberts' third nomination for popular music's top prize.

Roberts' other two nominations occurred in 2015 when he was recognized for his work on separate projects by Usher and J. Cole.

The 2020 Grammys award show is scheduled for Jan. 26 and will be telecast by CBS.
