Norwalk's Sono Bakery to Move into a Second Westport Location
Java Cafe closes at the end of the year at 44 Church St., later, SoNo Baking Co. & Cafe will have a second Westport location there.
SoNo Baking Company & Cafe is replacing Java Cafe at 44 Church St., after the Idaho coffee shop chain decided to close its cafe there on Dec. 31, WestportNow and CTBites.com report.
David Adam Realty which owns the location, said SoNo Baking Co. is expected to renovate the space in January and open sometime in February, WestportNow reported.
John Barricelli, the owner of SoNo Baking, told CTBites that his business will run a cafe there not a full bakery, while keeping the main storefront for retail business on the Post Road. The Church Street location will have complete breakfast and lunch menus along with the coffee. At some point dinner may be served there, he said.

SoNo Baking Co., which originally opened in SoNo in 2005, also has a location in Darien.
