Betty Jane Fitch Pearson of Norwalk, CT passed away peacefully with her family by her side on May 28, 2022 at the age of 82.

She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, friend. Her infectious smile, compassion and heart of gold will be greatly missed by all.

Betty was a member of Community Baptist Church, 101st Airborne Assoc., Southern CT CB Club and the American Legion Post 12 in Norwalk, CT.

Betty is survived by her two sons James Sr. (Mary), Lawrence (Danielle), Dawn Pearson, four grandchildren, James Jr, Rebecca Lynn, Morgan Sage and Freya Rayne, newly born great-grandson James Brian, sister June Henczel and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was predeceased by her parents Frank and Teresa Fitch, brother Frank S. Fitch and her devoted husband James M. Pearson, Jr.

Family will receive friends at Magner Funeral Home, 12 Mott Ave., Norwalk, CT on Thursday, June 2, 2022 from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Funeral Service will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, June 3, 2022 at the funeral home, followed by burial at Riverside Cemetery, being laid to rest next to her husband.
