Obituary: Daniel F. Iannacone, 87, Of Norwalk

Daniel F. "Bubi" Iannacone Sr., 87, of Norwalk passed away Friday, May 6, 2022, surrounded by family at Norwalk Hospital. He was the husband of the late Barbara J. (Boyd) Iannacone.

Daniel was born October 8, 1934, the son of the late Mary G. and Quido Iannacone. Daniel met Barbara, the love of his life, working at Cash’s. They married in 1952 and started a life and family together raising four children Daniel Jr. (Donna), Randy (Nancy), Tim (Patricia) and Tisha.

Daniel is blessed with seven grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. He was a retired electrician. He loved the outdoors, gardening, and especially growing tomatoes. Daniel was a devout Catholic. He will be missed.

Daniel is survived by his three brothers, Quido Jr. (Carol) of Gilbert, AZ, William (Martha) of Waterbury and Christopher (Jeanette) of Norwalk, cousins, and numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by five brothers, Charles Sr., Cyrus, Lawrence, Arthur, and Robert and two sisters, Faye Carole, and Lynda.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, May 13, at 10 a.m., St. Mary’s Church, West Ave. Norwalk. Burial will be private. There are no calling hours. A celebration of life will be announced later.
