Obituary: Dorothy Eleanor Sisk, 93, Of Norwalk

Dorothy Eleanor Sisk passed away peacefully on March 23, 2024.

She was born on June 4, 1930 in Norwalk CT to the late Michael and Theresa (Dickovick) Sisk.

Dorothy is predeceased by her siblings Jack, Virginia, Richard and Eugene.

Dorothy graduated from Sacred Heart Academy and later in life, earned her BS degree from Sacred Heart University. She worked as an Accountant and for many years at Norwalk Transit. Upon retirement, Dorothy volunteered at Norwalk Hospital.

Dorothy was a perfectionist and was meticulous in everything she did, whether it was tending to her flower gardens, baking (best cheesecake), needlework and painting. In later years Dorothy loved playing bingo and doing puzzles.

Dorothy cared for her Mom her entire life until her passing at almost 104 years old. Together they loved their trips to the Cape, relaxing at the beach enjoying a lobster roll.

Dorothy is survived by several nieces and nephews.

Services will be held at The Collins Funeral Home in Norwalk on Thursday, March 28, at 12 p.m. noon followed by burial at St. John Cemetery in Norwalk.

Dorothy's family would like to thank The Green's at Cannondale for their loving care of Dorothy over the past several years.

Dorothy, we will always remember your determination and sparkling blue eyes.
