Florence Viola Bossone, 97, of Norwalk, wife of the late Romas Bossone, died on May 12, 2022 at Wilton Meadows.

Born in Norwalk, the daughter of the late Michael and Hazel (Grover) Yuftczak, she had worked as an office assistant at Darien Medical Group.

In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by her son-in-law Joseph Karpiej, and her great-grandson Zachary A. Fraleigh, who passed away this month, on May 2nd.

A very loving mother and Nana, she enjoyed ice cream, candy, and she had never-ending energy for being a helpful, generous and loving person. She was everybody's Mom and Nana.

She is survived by her loving children; Francee Karpiej, twin sons: Romas “Skip” Bossone Jr, and Michael “Mickey” Bossone, two grandchildren, Donna Marie Armitage and her husband Michael, and Paul A. Fraleigh and his wife Stephanie, great-grandchildren Alyssa Marie Fraleigh and Dylan Nicole Ackerman, as well as several nieces and nephews.

Her family will receive friends on Monday, May 23, from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., at the Magner Funeral Home, 12 Mott Ave, Norwalk, with a prayer service to begin at noon, followed by burial at St. John Cemetery, Norwalk.
