Obituary: Gail Irene Myers, 76, Of Norwalk

Gail worked for St. Mark's Episcopal Church for 20 years and recently worked as a finance comptroller for Norwalk Radiology.

Gail Irene Myers, 76, lifelong Norwalk resident and beloved wife of Jon Myers for 56 years, died on August 1, 2022 at home in the company of her family. Born in Norwalk, she was the daughter of the late Louis and Irene (Virgulak) Bardos.

Gail worked for St. Mark’s Episcopal Church for 20 years, and more recently, she worked as a finance comptroller for Norwalk Radiology. She was a member of the Calvin Reformed Church, and was a member of their Consistory Board. She loved days at the beach, traveling with family and friends, and playing Uno with her grandchildren.

She is survived by her husband Jon, sons Douglas and Jeffrey Myers, daughter-in-law, Jackie, cherished grandchildren; Thomas and Ashley Myers, as well as her brother Louis Bardos and many cousins, nieces, nephews and other loving relatives.

Her family will receive friends on Friday, Aug. 5 from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Magner Funeral Home, 12 Mott Ave., Norwalk. Funeral Services to be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Aug. 6, at the Calvin reformed Church, 19 Lexington Ave, Norwalk, with burial to follow at Riverside Cemetery.
