Obituary: Helen A. Forlano, 92, Of Norwalk

Helen A. Forlano, age 92, of Norwalk, died peacefully at Norwalk Hospital on April 13, 2022. She was the wife of the late Joseph R. Forlano Sr.

Helen was born in Bridgeport on June 12, 1929, the daughter of the late Stephen and Susan (Pastir) Miklos. She worked for the Edwards Company, Draperies, Inc. and Vectron Technologies.

Helen enjoyed doing puzzles, especially word finders, going out to diners, traveling and spending summers in their home in New Hampshire. She was also a member of the St. Mary’s Women’s Guild.

Survivors include two sons, Joseph Forlano, Jr. and his wife Lucille, and Raymond Forlano, two grandsons, Joseph III, David and his wife Siu Lu, and many nieces and nephews. Helen was also predeceased by her brothers Stephen, Joe, Andy and John Miklos.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, April 20, at 10 a.m. at St. Mary Church, 669 West Ave., Norwalk, with burial to follow at St. John Cemetery. Helen’s family will receive friends at the Magner Funeral Home on Wednesday morning from 8:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m.
