Obituary: James Voliotes, 65, Of Norwalk

James R. Voliotes, 65, of Norwalk, passed away on February 14, 2023 at Norwalk Hospital after a long struggle with complications from COVID.

Born in New Haven, the son of the late William Voliotes and Mabel Iaccarino, he was the loving husband of Karen Westergard for 23 years.

A salesman for Hartley and Parker, Ltd. of Stratford for over 30 years, he had countless friends, co-workers, and customers that where "family" to him.

He loved driving with his wife in the "Vanderhall" as shown in the photo, it was his favorite thing to do!

In addition to his wife Karen and her three brothers, Craig, Chris and Gary Westergard, he is survived by his son Dakota Voliotes of Utah and a sister Lynn Voliotes Jacobson of West Haven.

His family will receive friends on Friday, March 3 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Magner Funeral Home, 12 Mott Ave., Norwalk, with a prayer service to be officiated by Rev. John Livingston at 7 p.m.
