Jessie Scapeccia, 89, died on Wednesday, January 31, 2024 at her home in Norwalk.

Born in Norwalk, the daughter of the late Galliano and Irene (Cirulli) Porfilio, she was the wife of the late J. Joseph Scapeccia. She was also predeceased by her sister Mary Porfilio and brother Ralph Porfilio.

A loving family woman she enjoyed spending time with her daughters and their families. Jessie (Babe) as she was known by friends enjoyed reading books, crocheting and doing word searches/puzzles.

She is survived by her children, Patricia Sabato of Newtown, Debbie Reddock (Larry Reddock) of Norwalk, Joann Horwath (David Horwath) of Southbury, Kim Melfi (Louis Jr) of Milford, and nine grandchildren; Michael John, Bryan, Joey, Jessie, Stephen, Melissa, Louie, Sarah, Emily and 1 soon to be great grandchild, as well as many nieces and nephews.
