Joann A. Sciglimpaglia, 83, beloved wife of Louis Sciglimpaglia for 57 years, died on Tuesday, December 6, 2022 at Norwalk Hospital.

Born in Norwalk, the daughter of Frank and Helen Mary (Santella) Pimbell, she was also predeceased by her sister Patricia.

Joann worked as a dental assistant for a time, then owned and operated a cleaning business. An active member of St. Matthew Church, she served in many groups and committees.

In addition to her loving husband Louis, she is survived by their sons Craig and Dan, and two cherished grandchildren Ava and Eden.

Her family will receive friends on Monday Dec 12, from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Magner Funeral Home, 12 Mott Ave, Norwalk. Her Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 13 at St. Matthew Church, 216 Scribner Ave, with burial to follow at St. John Cemetery.
