John J. McBride, age 71, of Norwalk, died suddenly on June 23, 2022.
Born in Astoria, Queens, N.Y., on September 2, 1950, he was the son of the late John F. and Sarah (McNally) McBride. He was a graduate of the University of New Haven and worked for Purdue Pharma as an accountant for many years.

John loved spending time with his family. He also enjoyed fishing and the NY Yankees and was a member of the Ischoda Yacht Club.
Survivors include his daughter Carrie Whelan, her husband Sean and children Maeve and Nolan, his son Michael McBride and his daughter Alaina, his sister Joan Foy, two nieces and a nephew.
