Obituary: Lena Elizabeth Waring, 96, Of Norwalk

Lena Elizabeth Waring, age 96 of Norwalk, died peacefully at her home on June 16, 2022. She was the loving wife of the late Edgar C. Waring Sr.

Lena was born in Stamford, CT on March 12, 1926, the daughter of the late Joseph and Frieda (Pustari) LaRosa. She worked for several years for Bigelow Tea.

Survivors include two sons, Edgar C. Waring, Jr. and his wife Jo-Ann, and Dennis J. Waring and his wife Sylvette, five grandchildren, Stacy, Michele, Kimberly, Matthew and Alexander, four great grandchildren, Lindsay, Samantha, Abigail and Clara, and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her siblings John and Joseph LaRosa, Alice Bianco, Mary Zacarola, Rose Merrill, and Josephine Rosa.
