Obituary : Leonel Antonio Mayorga

Leonel Antonio Mayorga (54), born on October 20, 1969, in Managua, Nicaragua, passed away peacefully on February 11, 2024. He is survived by his mother, Esperanza Mayorga, his wife, Arlen Mayorga, his children, Alexis, Mireiya, Angelica, Belen, and Leonel Jr., and his sisters, Soraya Sequeira, Anielka Sajous, and Giselle De Jesus.

He grew up in Managua, Nicaragua and moved to Norwalk, CT in 1985. He attended Norwalk High School and Norwalk Community College. In his younger years, Leonel enjoyed coaching his kid’s soccer team, he was also a local DJ. He loved photography, graphic design, and spending time with his family. He was a notable member of a local church, Centro Cristiano La Familia.

There will be a viewing on Thursday February 15, 2024, from 6-8 p.m. at Raymond Funeral Home, 5 E Wall Street in Historic Norwalk. Interment will follow in Riverside Cemetery, Norwalk.
