Lorraine Burr, 96, wife of the late Alan Burr of Norwalk died on Friday, February 2, 2024.

She was born in Brooklyn, New York on February 26, 1927, to the late Irving and Mayme Marie Vredenburgh.

Lorraine had two children by her first husband Edward James Arnold - her daughter Donna Melfi and her husband Nicholas of New Fairfield, CT, and she was predeceased by her son (2004) Edward J. Arnold Jr. She has 3 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, 7 step children and many step grandchildren. There are also many nieces, and nephews who will miss her. She was known as "Little Grandma" by many family and friends’ children. An active member of Christ Church in East Norwalk.

Services will be held on Saturday, February 10, at 10:30 a.m. at Collins Funeral Home, 92 East Avenue, Norwalk. Burial will follow at Riverside Cemetery, 81 Riverside Avenue, Norwalk. Friends may visit with the family on Saturday from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the service.
