Obituary: Luigi Scaramuzzo, 87, Of Norwalk

Mr. Luigi Scaramuzzo, 87, husband of the late Teresa Scirocco-Scaramuzzo passed away on Sunday July 10, 2022. He was longtime resident of Norwalk, CT and former resident of Westport, CT.

Luigi was born in Italy on December 26, 1934 and was the son of the late Nicola Scaramuzzo and Marta Sabino. Before immigrating to the United States, Luigi helped to build the Alps tunnels between Switzerland, France, and Italy. Luigi worked for many years at Pepperidge Farm as a shipping clerk. He was an avid gardener and fisherman.

Survivors include one son; Nicola Scaramuzzo of Norwalk, CT, one daughter; Anna Scaramuzzo of Norwalk, CT and one brother; Pietro Scaramuzzo of Italy. In addition to his wife Luigi is predeceased by two brothers; Giuseppe Scaramuzzo, Michele Scaramuzzo and one sister; Giuseppina Scaramuzzo.

Friends are invited to attend a funeral on Thursday July 14, 2022 at 10 a.m. meeting directly at Assumption Church 98 Riverside Ave. Westport, CT for a Mass of Christian Burial. Entombment will follow in Willowbrook Cemetery 395 Main St. Westport, CT.
