Luis was a Norwalk resident for many years and spent the later part of his years proudly working as a member of a facility and maintenance team assisting the elderly. He had an innate ability to make people laugh and transport a crowd away from the daily concerns of life into a place of joy, and he leveraged this ability to up-lift the elderly at his place of work. He was not just a hard worker but a friend who truly cared for the well-being of others.

He enjoyed playing a game of chess and having a glass of Pinot Noir and pizza on Fridays. He loved reading books by authors such as Gabriel Garcia Marquez, Nicholas Sparks and Dan Brown, among many others. He enjoyed watching Christmas movies and making people laugh, but most of all he loved his family and looked forward to family gatherings during the holidays. He was a husband, a father, a grand-father and a friend to all of us.
