Obituary: Luis A. Reyes, 89, Of Norwalk

Luis A. Reyes, age 89 of Norwalk, died on August 18, 2022 at the Norwalk Hospital after a brief illness. He was the loving husband of Ely Cruz Reyes.

Luis was born in Ponce, Puerto Rico on August 7, 1933, the son of the late Pedro and Pura Reyes. He worked for several years as a painter and security guard for King Industries in Norwalk.

In addition to his wife Luis is survived by his children Luis A. Reyes, Carlos J. Reyes and his wife Heather, Peter Reyes and Doraine Reyes Patino, his brothers Hector and Hayde Reyes, sisters Rina and Carmen Reyes, grandchildren Anthony, Charllene, Brandon, Rosa, Roxanna, Elybel, Christopher and Shane, great grandchildren Isabel, Noah and Evan, and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his grandson Alex Reyes, his brother Peter Reyes and his sister Tully Reyes.
