Obituary : Miladys Altagracia Felix
Miladys was the rock of her family. She is now in Heaven reunited with her loving husband and partner.
Miladys Altagracia Felix, 79, of Wappingers Falls, New York was called home to our Heavenly Father on Sunday, May 28, 2023. She was surrounded by her loving family.
Miladys was born in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic to Justilia Brito and Anthonio Dominguez. She was the youngest of seven children having four sisters and two brothers that Miladys adored her entire life. Miladys was more than just a devoted and wonderful daughter and sister. She was a mother, a grandmother, and a steadfast friend known for her beautiful and infectious smile, genuine loving spirit, amazing cooking, soulful singing, and a true heart of gold. Miladys lived a full and happy life, and gave of herself unconditionally. She asked for nothing in this world except the closeness of the family and friends. Her children and grandchildren meant the world to her.
Also known as ‘Mami’, ‘Mamas’, and ‘Vieja’ (Spanish for my old woman), Miladys was the rock of her family. She is now in Heaven reunited with her loving husband and partner, of 50 years in this world, Jose Felix, her mother and father, her siblings and the loving souls that were in her life but were called home to God before her time. Miladys was a true blessing to her children; daughters Miladys Virginia Felix and Karina Consuelo Felix and son, Virgilio Felix, children in-laws Vasilios Miliopulos, Denise Felix, and Robert Pinghero and her six wonderful grandchildren Nikolas, Alexandra, Rachel, Matthew, Samantha, and Gabriella. Miladys was a once of a kind, never to be replaced or duplicated. Her presence alone was a blessing and she will forever live in the hearts of everyone who knew her.
