Obituary: Rose Caruso, 87, Of Norwalk

Rose Caruso of Norwalk, died Thursday, August 17, 2023, at Notre Dame Convalescent Home. She was the spouse of the late Daniel Caruso.

Rose was born in Port Chester, NY, on July 28, 1936, daughter of the late Louis and Susan DeSimone.

Rose is survived by her children: Sheryl Eckert, Sandra (Jim) Mihok, Stacey Cossuto and Brian Mola, Dan (Collette) Caruso, Tom (Crystal) Caruso. She is also survived by her brother and sister-in-law Robert and Joanne DeSimone and Sharon DeSimone, grandchildren: Thomas, Joey (Lindsey), Nicholas, Michelle (Matt), Brian, Shannon, and Emily, great grandchildren: Hunter Haley, Leah, Hannah, Julian, and Lucille Rose, and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by Frank DeSimone, Stephen Tigano and Gerald Tigano.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, August 28, 2023, at 10 a.m. at St. Philip Church, 1 Father Conlon Place, Norwalk, CT 06851. Interment will follow in St. John Cemetery, 223 Richards Avenue, Norwalk, CT 06850. There are no calling hours.
