Obituary: Stanley Baxa Jr., 94, Of Norwalk

Stanley Baxa, Jr., 94, of Norwalk, died on December 12, 2021 at Norwalk Hospital. Born in Norwalk, son of the late Stanley and Margaret (Benedict) Baxa, he was the husband of the late Julia Marie Baxa. He was also predeceased by his son Stanley Baxa III.

He served in the USMC during WWII, and worked as a plumber for many years, after going to trade school on the GI bill. He truly enjoyed social lunches and bus trips through area senior centers, with his companion Mary Faith Riley. He is survived by his daughter Patricia Baxa and her spouse Linda Niles, of Kensington, CT.

He will be laid to rest with his wife, parents and son at Riverside Cemetery in Norwalk. Memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society (cancer.org).
