Obituary: Thomas 'Tom' W. Huminski, 92, Of Norwalk
He was a member of St. Matthew Church, American Legion and former member of the Rowayton Yacht Club.

Thomas “Tom” W. Huminski, 92, of Norwalk, died on May 6, 2024 at Norwalk Hospital. Born in Norwalk, son of the late Walter and Margaret (DRENYOCZKY) Huminski, he was the loving husband of the late Dolores (Florio) Huminski. He was also predeceased by his brother Edward Huminski.
Tom served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. A skilled carpenter and member of Local # 210, he specialized in fine carpentry for high end homes in Fairfield County. He was also a member of St. Matthew Church, American Legion and former member of the Rowayton Yacht Club. Tom enjoyed fishing and boating, bocce playing with his extended family, and was always eager to lend a hand with his carpentry skills.

He is survived by his two daughters Linda Gaboardi and her husband Kevin of Danbury, and Trisha Simmons and her husband Kevin of Branford, six grandchildren Paige (Michael) Blanchard, April and Kendall Simmons, Thomas, Éli Lynn and Michael Gaboardi, as well as his sister-in-law and many beloved nieces and nephews.
His family will receive friends on Thursday May 9, from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Magner Funeral Home, 12 Mott Ave., Norwalk. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. on Friday, at St. Matthew Church, 216 Scribner Ave., Norwalk. Burial with full military honors will follow at St. John Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to St. Matthew Church.
