Obituary: Timothy J. Hegedus, 68, Of Norwalk

Timothy J. Hegedus, 68, lifelong resident of Norwalk and son of the late James M. and Eleanor Hegedus, died peacefully on August 10, 2022, at his home in Rowayton.

A loving son and friend to all who knew him, Tim attended local schools, graduating from Brian McMahon High School. He went on to earn a Bachelor of Science degree from Northern Vermont University.

Tim enjoyed reading the newspaper from cover to cover every day. He was fascinated with the universe and with the environment. Most of all Tim was very proud of his Hungarian lineage and was constantly adding to his vocabulary of Hungarian words.

Friends and family will gather on Wednesday, Aug. 17 from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m., at the Magner Funeral Home, 12 Mott Avenue, Norwalk, with a prayer service, officiated by Pastor Robert Beinke, to begin at 7 p.m. He will be laid to rest beside his parents in a private ceremony.
