Obituary: Tina L. Loretoni, 92, Of Norwalk

Tina L. Loretoni, 92, wife of John B. Loretoni, Sr., of Norwalk, passed away on Tuesday, August 22, 2023, at her home surrounded by family.

Born in Bronx, NY, she was the daughter of the late Vincent and Rosaria Grasso.

Tina worked at the Mt. Vernon Board of Education as a secretary to the Asst. Superintendent of Schools. After retiring they spent winter months in Orlando, Florida for 25 years. She was active in her homeowners association in Florida, participating on the Community Association social board, helping plan parties and special events. She loved to cook and bake for her family and friends. She was devoted to spending time with family and friends, and was deeply rooted in her Catholic faith.

In addition to her husband of 71+ years, John, Tina is survived by her sons: John B. Loretoni, Jr. of Norwalk, CT, Rich and Susan Loretoni, of Milwaukee, WI, Vincent and Susan Loretoni of New City, NY, Mike and Sharon Loretoni of Danbury, CT.She is also survived by her brother, Vincent Grasso, of Norwalk, CT. In addition, her grandchildren, Keri Rozny, Vincent Loretoni, Kristen Loretoni, Jillian Loretoni, Jade Gambino, her great grandchildren, Kelsey and Ryan Rozny, Emmy and John Loretoni.

Calling hours will be held on Sunday, August 27, from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Collins Funeral Home, 92 East Avenue, Norwalk, CT 06851. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, August 28, at 10 a.m. at St. Jerome Church, 23 Half Mile Road, Norwalk, CT 06851. Entombment will follow at St. John Cemetery, 223 Richards Avenue, Norwalk, CT 06850.
