Obituary: Trevor Johnson, 76, Of Norwalk
Trevor worked at Bankers Trust in Manhattan for over 15 years before switching to a career in satellite and cable installation.

Trevor Johnson, 76, passed away on Saturday, November 26, 2022. Trevor was born to Pearline and Cecil Johnson on November 26, 1946, in the Rollington neighborhood of Kingston, Jamaica and immigrated to New York, United States in February 1965 at the age of 19.
He went on to study computer programming in college and worked at Bankers Trust in Manhattan for over 15 years before switching to a career in satellite & cable installation.

In 1973, Trevor married Pauline McCalla and the couple had two children Trevor Jr. and Chandra. The family settled in Long Island, New York. Trevor retired in 2015 and moved to Norwalk, CT the following year.
Many will remember Trevor for his love for playing cricket, gardening and landscaping, as well as his technological acumen and penchant for the finest German cars. Somecan even remember a young Trevor running races with the neighborhood kids. A lover of reggae, soul, funk and jazz, Trevor often served as the DJ at his own house parties, playing his selections into the early morning hours.

He was so proud to become a grandfather to Sydney and Saige and thoroughly enjoyed being present for their dance recitals, celebrating holidays and birthdays with them, and listening to them discuss their daily activities.
Trevor is predeceased by his parents Pearline and Cecil and survived by his son Trevor Jr. (Curt); his daughter Chandra (Jamar); his granddaughters Sydney and Saige; his brother Edmond; and many beloved cousins and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Parkinson’s Foundation.
