Proposed Main Avenue Development In Norwalk Faces Scrutiny: Report
The site, located at 272-280 Main Ave., would hold an 85,000 square foot retail facility.

NORWALK, CT — Concerns over traffic continue to dog a proposed big-box store development at 272-280 Main Ave. in Norwalk, reports The Hour.
The Village development has already been scaled down from earlier plans, but will still hold an 85,000 square foot retail facility.
Some residents told the Zoning Commission this week that they believe the stretch of Main Avenue where the development would be located would become too congested. A traffic study commissioned by the developer disagrees, stressing that there would not be any adverse impact from additional car trips in the area.
