Scout Me In Family Fun Day at SoNo Collection

NORWALK — Stop by the SoNo Collection on Sunday, Sept. 26, to see what Scouting has to offer your children.

Family Fun Day is from 1 to 3 p.m. in the People’s United Magnificent Room.

Join Scouting to unlock your full potential and live life outside! Here are some of the activities that will be available:

• Blast Car Race — A larger-sized Pinewood Derby Car powered by a CO2 cartridge. It’s a blast!
• Robotics Adventure — Learn about Robotics and build a robot.
• Be a Cartoonist — Orlando Busino, Boy’s Life magazine cartoonist of “Gus,” and Scouter Bill Janocha, a nationally published cartoonist, will lead a drawing activity.
• Plus, crafts, tabletop activities, local unit information and more.

Sponsors from the SoNo Collection include CAMP’S Store, a virtual store with fun things to do, make, and learn, which is providing giveaways and activities, and the Readiness Collective, a training center that provides hands on emergency readiness activities for Cub Scouts and emergency preparedness activities for Scouts BSA.

The first 60 new Scouting applicants will receive a complimentary lunch coupon at Pinstripes Pizza and Bowling.
