Ramiro Arcos-Garcia admitted to killing Jackson Pierre-Louis in 2014.

NORWALK, CT — Ramiro Arcos-Garcia, who pleaded guilty to the 2014 killing of Norwlk cab driver Jackson Pierre-Louis, was sentenced to 30 years in prison Wednesday, reports the Connecticut Post.

Arcos-Garcia was sentenced by Judge Gary White, but not before Arcos-Garcia caused a minor scene by requesting a lie detector test and questioning why he was even in courtroom, writes the Post's John Nickerson.

Pierre-Louis was stabbed in the stomach, chest and neck by Arcos-Garcia in December 2014, while the two were on Grove Street in South Norwalk.
